If you are going to buy another tin then get a tin of Estapol Satin. Apply 2 coats gloss then 2 coats satin and you still get a satin finish.

Bullshyte. :) Apply all coats gloss until the last, which should be satin or matte, depending what you want. Wongo is wrongo.

right on Bob, the same applies for all clear finishes not just poly

Why not just apply all satin coats?

Why not just apply all satin coats?

Good question. And the answer is: satin and matte finish poly costs more and gums up easily. So, apply the cheaper, easier gloss until the last coat. :)

There you go ... you learn something new every day. Although I'm a bit shocked that I learnt something new in the Shed.

But for me, laziness outweighs the cost.

the satin is loaded with talc so if you build up with satin/matt you can end up wih a noticeably cloudy finish

Sorry I said 2 coats of satin. I should be just one coat. I am sorry, I am wrong. Sorry. 2 coats of satin is wrong, it will not work. I am sorry, it is not right. Sorry Bob, you are right. 1 coat is right, only 1 coat not 2. Once again sorry.

Why didn't you suggest it before?

Fuck Wongo. . . Two coats would work as well. No need to get snarky about it. I love you too. I do not pretend I am as good as you are. That would be blasphemy.:D:D

BTW, I meant not as good as you at WWing. In many other ways I am, no doubt, superior. :D:D

And yes, 2 costs will work.

I would like to, but the fishing is so good. However when you catch a pest species, you really should destroy it, rather than release it. :D

yer don't want yer nuts to be glossy?????????????????

thats the stuff, neil sells it unperfumed for mixing with shellac to make sanding sealer

watch the shop stuff, some of the toiletry powders do not contain any talcum at all so read the label properly
