High cost of imported food.

Just been talking on Skype with my Bro inlaw in Thailand, he had a large Squamous (Sp) Cell carcinoma cut out of his scalp last week. He was just back from having the stitches, 35 of them , removed, an was telling me about how his wife had bought him an Apple imported from Aus., for not swearing when the stitches were removed, it cost 135 Baht which is roughly AU$5.10, yes that’s for one 1 apple.

I paid $4 for a pomegranate the other day. Not something that grows to well in Melbourne.

Shipping fruit costs money.

We were tossing up as to whether to buy two avocados or a new car.

If you get the car, try mashing it on toast for breakfast.

Yes it does, and we’re about to arrive back in Aus where it costs a lot more than anywhere we’ve been. In some places in EU it seems to be almost free… they must ship it differently.
