Pardon? Say again?

I’m sorry to hear about this Midge.

I’m only deaf periodically. When I’m reading or concentrating, I just don’t hear anything. Much to the chagrin of my wife.

the earmuffs they gave me to wear there were streets ahead of anything else

What are/were they?

Try shouting, Cliff.
HEY @shy-ted WHAT KIND OF EAR MUFFS ARE THEY?

Venturegear - I haven’t got the package, but this looks like the model.

Too late for me , too many engine room with fukin great engines banging away.
Had a free test 4 years ago and had less than 5% loss, just below the compensation level.

First ear muffs were back in the late 70’s but they were a total loss , Bilsom, big heavy, hot and cumbersome, couldn’t hear anyone, couldn’t hear any engine noise problems etc, later came the Bilsom 303 foam plugs, and still use them today , easy to fit good protection and if worn as well as ear muffs when your in an extremely noise machine room give great protection. They are also a must carry if you take the grandkids to the movies.

Thanks Ted, I have the PELTOR H10B
About 5 times the price, slightly better noise reduction but the thing I like the most is that I can wear them with a hat.

Yeah, that’s the only problem with mine.

Looks like your connection to The Blokey Shed was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
